Set in a beautiful, nature-inspired location, our program provides children with a balanced and enriching experience that supports their social, emotional, cognitive, and creative development while allowing them to simply enjoy being children.
Generation Daycare is an environment where children have the opportunities for active play, indoor and outdoor, quiet play and rest, all while developing their motor, social, language and cognitive skills through play.

Our Services
Program
Our play-based learning environment encourages children to learn through exploration, creativity, and hands-on experiences. A variety of play areas, including building blocks, dramatic play, sensory activities, and manipulatives, allow children to learn at their own pace while balancing teacher-guided activities with opportunities for child-led play. Each day begins with an engaging circle time filled with songs, stories, discussions, calendar and weather activities, helping children build a sense of community while learning about the world around them. Creative art activities are also woven into our themes, giving children meaningful opportunities to express themselves and explore new ideas through hands-on learning.
Staff
Our dedicated teachers are qualified, caring educators who are passionate about early childhood learning. They take the time to understand each child’s unique needs, strengths, and personality, providing individualized attention in a warm and nurturing environment. With open communication and a strong partnership with parents, our teachers share meaningful updates, celebrate milestones, and work together with families to support every child’s growth and development.
Outdoor Play
Our nature-inspired setting, nestled along the Steveston boardwalk overlooking the Fraser River, gives children the opportunity to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and beautiful natural surroundings as they explore the world around them. With nature play and engaging interest areas such as playhouses, sandboxes, and wiggle cars, children are encouraged to discover, imagine, and build confidence while growing emotionally, socially, and cognitively.
Learning and Growing
Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed around children’s interests, questions, and natural curiosity, creating an emergent learning experience that is child-directed and supported by caring teachers. Through play, exploration, storytelling, counting games, and hands-on activities, children naturally develop early literacy and numeracy skills while building confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
